Area Median Income (AMI) is a yearly stat that HUD publishes based on the estimates of the median wealth of households in a specific area. AMI can help determine the eligibility for LIHTC and affordable restrictions.

The AMI changes are based on economic and monetary factors. Every year HUD releases new statistics.
